Our Success Stories

This is a new page, and is currently under construction. In our spare time, we will be updating this page with success stories of clients and employees, as well as have a place for clients to write recommendations. We are also compiling the data from the assessments we complete with children every three months to show the success rates between all of the clients Consultants for Children, Inc. services. Please come visit this page again soon.

Thank you.

When reading the results of the two assessments below, please keep in mind that these are not guarantees of results for any child. These scores are also only from past clients who are currently not receiving regular services from our agency.
.
Please also note that the scores below are all averages between client's scores. Some clients began to improve immediately, while others took a bit longer to begin to improve. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Descriptions of the assessments are also on the Assessments page of this website.
Child Development Inventory
On the CDI, which is done every three months with clients, the following results were found: From intake to the first quarter, clients average increasing 4.5 months in general development, by the second quarter, they increased 8.0 more months, by the third quarter (nine months after starting), they increased another 4.5 months of skills, for a total increase of 17 months in 9 months time.
Gilliam Autism Rating Scale
Lower scores are preferred on the GARS assessment - being that it looks at Autism-Like behaviors and how often they occur. On the GARS, which is done every three months with clients, the following results were found: At intake, the average scoring for clients was 95.3 (Average Score on the GARS). At the first quarter, the average score was 81.0 (a 14.3 point decrease to a Below Average score). At the second quarter, the average score was 51.7 (a 29.3 point decrease to a Very Low score). For the third quarter, the average score was 48.3 (there is no lower scale than "Very Low" so it did not decrease significantly).
