Our mission is to provide consulting services to parents and schools for the purpose of working with children diagnosed with autism and/or other developmental disabilities. We offer a variety of effective consulting services that are designed to meet each child’s individual needs.
Our philosophy is that children diagnosed with autism and/or other developmental disabilities have the capability to function independently within their home and school environment. In order to ensure each child’s independence, an effective treatment plan must be established. Consultants for Children, Inc. consult with parents and schools to develop appropriate treatment plans that target the needs of each child. Our services are primarily based upon the foundations of ABA, and we incorporate aspects of Verbal Behavior, Floortime, Cognitive-Behavioral Play Therapy, TEACCH, RDI, and up to date research findings to make it an overall inclusive plan. We are dedicated in developing effective treatment plans that promote the independence and academic success of each child. We believe that with effective treatment, each child can grow to have a happy and fulfilling life. |
