Assessments will be conducted for clients by a Master’s level consultant. A regularly updated list of assessments provided will be listed on the web-site along with the length of time to conduct the assessment and to write the report. A written report will be available within the following week of the assessment for the client. We will continue to update the availability of this service.
All assessments can be completed at the child’s home or school or at our office. If any travel time or cost is incurred, reimbursement is required. We have included the approximate time for testing and scoring along with the description of each assessment. Please know that these are only estimates, and may be more or less time to conduct and/or score the assessment. We charge for a minimum of 1 hour for the total time of any assessment completed. If you require a specific assessment to be completed, and it is not on this list, please contact us and we will attempt to meet your needs.

The ABLLS (Parrington & Sundberg, 1998) is a criterion referenced assessment which is for children of any age and ability. The assessment scores children on their skills currently (as a baseline), then regularly there after to see the acquisition rate of skills. It is very inclusive and well known in the developmental disability community.

The Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS) is a developmental checklist to assist in the identification of persons who are autistic between the ages of 3 and 22. The easy format of the test allows teachers, parents, or others who have knowledge of the subject’s behavior to complete it. There are fourteen items in each of the four subtests: 1) Stereotyped Behavior, 2) Communication, 3) Social Interactions, and 4) Developmental Disturbances. It also has a table with the likelihood of autism, and the level of severity. The GARS is a norm-referenced assessment.

The ASDS may be used for the following purposes: to identify persons who have Asperger’s Syndrome, to document behavioral progress as a consequence of special intervention programs, to target goals for change and intervention on the students’ IEP, and to measure Asperger’s Syndrome in research projects. This assessment is for children aged 5 to 18 years old. There are five categories that provide the examiner with information of clinical interest: Language, Social, Maladaptive, Cognitive & Sensorimotor. The ASDS is a norm-referenced assessment.

The CDI gives you detailed information about the child's present development, symptoms, and adjustment based on the parent's report. This assessment is for children 15 months to 6 years of age.

The test includes 100 items, from which six subtests and one total score are derived that measure important cognitive areas, including language, attention, and motor abilities. Ages: 3 years-0 months to 9 years-11 months

Provides a broad, multirater assessment of student social behaviors that can affect teacher-student relations, peer acceptance, and academic performance. This assessment can be used with preschool, elementary and secondary students. The SSRS documents the perceived frequency and importance of behaviors influencing the student's development of social competence and adaptive functioning at school and at home. The SSRS is a useful tool when making decisions regarding screening, classification, and intervention planning.

The ASIEP-2 provides data on 5 unique components of behavior in individuals from 18 months of age through adulthood. The ASIEP-2 examines behavior in five areas: (a) sensory, relating, body concept, language, and social self-help; (b) vocal behavior; (c) interaction; (d) communication; and (e) learning rate. When combined, these subtests provide a profile of abilities in spontaneous verbal behavior, social interaction, education level, and learning characteristics.
